Welcome to the ball without a masquerade. Each composition is a narrative of those things that destroy a human from the inside as a person: non-self-sufficiency, infantilism, uncontrolled rage, hypocrisy, laziness, dependence on the past, indecision. This musical canvas is a difficult, but logical and holistic path in which the listener consistently goes through several stages of narration: denial, awareness, anger, humility, struggle and healing. Each person in varying degrees depends on his own demons. Our task is to embark on the path of healing.

I first heard Pillars when I attended Post. Fest 2018 to hear Heron play (I have 2 talented nephews who are members of that band). I thought the guys in Pillars sounded tight and awesome. This album, CAVUM, just proves even more so that I was correct! My favorites on the album are Dissolution and Black Prayer, but plenty of excellent sounds here! Kenneth Blick
